The Voice fans may have gotten an early glimpse at Season 31 after audience members claimed to reveal the show’s coach lineup and a major hosting change.
The reported leak comes as speculation continues to grow that longtime host Carson Daly could be stepping away from the NBC singing competition after 15 years.
Carson Daly’s Future Remains Uncertain
Carson Daly has hosted The Voice since the series premiered in 2011 and is officially set to return for Season 30, which debuts on September 21.
However, according to The U.S. Sun, Daly is expected to step away from hosting after Season 30, potentially bringing an end to one of the longest-running roles in the show’s history.
The report claims Daly’s demanding schedule played a major role in the decision. In addition to hosting The Voice in Los Angeles, he continues to serve as a co-host on NBC’s Today in New York, with the constant cross-country travel reportedly becoming increasingly difficult.
An unnamed source told the outlet that Daly plans to remain involved with the franchise as an executive producer, adding that “the door is open” for him to return as host for Season 32 if his schedule allows.

Audience Members Reportedly Reveal Season 31 Lineup
The rumors gained even more attention after TV Insider highlighted posts from people who claimed they attended early Season 31 tapings.
According to those attendees, Carson Daly was absent from the recordings, fueling speculation that his departure may already be underway.
The audience members also claimed that actress and television personality Keke Palmer served as host during the tapings, while Riley Green, Queen Latifah, and Joe Jonas appeared as coaches.
Neither NBC nor the show’s producers have confirmed those claims, and the reported lineup remains unverified.
Season 30 Arrives This Fall
While fans speculate about what comes next, The Voice is preparing to launch its milestone Season 30.
The upcoming season will feature returning coaches Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine, joined by first-time coaches Riley Green and Queen Latifah.
Ahead of the premiere, Green admitted he was stunned when he was invited to join the coaching panel.
“When they called me about it, they were interested in me being on the show, I still thought, ‘There’s no way,'” he told K99.1 FM. “It’s been such a cool experience.”
The country star also praised his fellow coaches and said he looks forward to mentoring contestants throughout the competition.
“Everybody’s great—Kelly Clarkson, Queen Latifah, Adam Levine. I just can’t believe I’m on the show. All the contestants that are coming on there, it’ll be cool to get to try to help them out along the way.”
