The country superstar joined the worship team and performed Hillsong Worship’s “What a Beautiful Name,” giving those in attendance a chance to hear her powerful voice in a deeply personal setting.

Underwood has described the new version as a celebration of the “heart of rock ’n’ roll,” reflecting another side of her musical personality.
“This year’s show open welcomes Sunday Night Football into my ongoing rock star fever dream,” Underwood said, adding that the new version is among her favorite openings yet.
A first look at the updated opening was shown during the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, giving fans a preview of what’s to come.
The full performance will debut when Sunday Night Football returns on September 13, ahead of the season-opening matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.
