During a recent performance at her Studio Sessions residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the Grammy-winning singer shared a refreshingly honest update about her love life, telling fans she’s perfectly happy being single.
Her candid comments come shortly after confirming that The Kelly Clarkson Show will end after seven successful seasons, marking another major life transition.
“I’m Glad I’m Going Home Alone”
While chatting with the audience between songs, Clarkson joked about one of the questions she gets asked most often.
“People are like, ‘Why are you single?'” she said with a smile.
Rather than seeing it as a negative, Clarkson explained that watching other relationships has actually made her appreciate her own peace and independence.
“There are a lot of people out here making single look really good,” she joked.
She added that seeing the challenges some couples face often leaves her grateful for the quiet life waiting for her at home.
“Sometimes you see relationships and think, ‘I’m so glad I’m going home alone.’ You know what’s not happening in my house? That.”
